For this project, I wanted to bring together my passion for video games and my graphic design studies. The idea was to create a layout that showcases two of my favorite characters, capturing their personalities while experimenting with composition and visual storytelling. This project was a way for me to combine two things I love: art and gaming. It’s exciting to bring the stories and emotions of these characters into my design work, and it’s also a great opportunity to practice digital illustration, composition, and storytelling.
I created Firefly Games as a space to talk about my favorite video games and connect with others who share the same passion. The blog has a simple, colorful design that’s easy to navigate and fun to read. I put a lot of effort into making the articles engaging, like my post on Life is Strange, where I combined personal thoughts with visuals to make it more interesting. I also included features like a comments section to make it interactive. This project was a great way for me to learn more about web design, content creation, and connecting with an audience.
I designed a medieval-inspired background on Photoshop with bright and cartoonish colors. The aim was to create a fantasy world that is both playful and engaging. I used exaggerated features, such as bold colors and simplified shapes, to achieve a cartoon style. I am currently coding the game!
As part of my project on ergonomics and accessibility, I designed a website mockup for Vélizy on Figma. The objective was to rethink the user experience by taking into account the basic principles of ergonomics, such as intuitive navigation, information prioritization and access to complete content.
In art class, I created what is called a moodboard. The main objective of this work was to bring together a wide range of visual elements inspired by the ladybird. I have sought to compile various interpretations and artistic representations of this iconic insect, drawing on different sources such as illustrations, motifs, photographs and other forms of visual media.
